What can we do?
In the next few days, Amnesty International’s UK section is going to send out a ballot to all its more than 250,000 members asking them to choose members of their Board. This is a chance to challenge Amnesty, to raise difficult issues, and to take the organisation out of its comfort zone.
You can help by:
- If you’re an Amnesty member, make sure to vote for Eric Lee for the Board.
- If you know any Amnesty members, encourage them to vote.
- If you want to invite Eric Lee to speak to your group, contact him at ericlee@labourstart.org.
- If you come across material that should be on this blog, let us know.
